Rick currently serves as the Managing Partner in Singapore, Head of Audit & Assurance in APAC and recently appointed as a Member of the Group Governance Board (GGB).

The GGB oversees the governance, strategy and oversight of Forvis Mazars Group Group, driving the firm’s commitment to delivering exceptional value to our clients and continually investing in our people globally.

As the Managing Partner, Rick leads an energetic and passionate team of over 450, including more than 30 partners and directors. He advises his clients in determining the path to improved profitability and business value by listening and understanding them. In charge of Initial Public Offering (IPO) and capital market services, Rick works alongside his clients to chart their growth stories, whether they aspire to be a publicly listed company or work on their succession plans.

As the Head of Audit and Assurance of Forvis Mazars in APAC, Rick leads and shapes the development and growth of the audit and assurance service line together with 17 country audit leaders of Forvis Mazars in APAC.

Rick has more than 30 years of experience in international public accounting firms, including the Big 4 in Singapore and Malaysia for both SMEs, MNCs, Not-for-Profit organisations and publicly listed companies. His portfolio spans across a broad range of industries from trading, retail, services, manufacturing, property development, construction and infrastructure, healthcare, hotels and hospitality, education, shipping, shipbuilding, marine supplies, mining, and fund management to insurance companies.

Enthusiastic about growing businesses holistically, Rick also assists companies going for IPO on the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST) and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKSE). He is the Engagement Partner for several companies listed on SGX-ST and HKSE. He covers financial due diligence for merger and acquisition transactions as well.

Rick is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Global Audit Forum. He is also a member of Forvis Mazars Global Audit and Assurance Committee (GAAC).

He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA), a practising member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) andserves on ISCA’s Public Accountants in Practice Committee.
