What are the Impact awards?  

The Impact awards celebrate exceptional projects that bring progress and change, reflecting our values as a firm. This year, the competition had four main categories, in addition to a special ‘Diamond award’ for an exceptional project that merited special recognition.

• Taletn and people: honouring projects that inspire, develop and empower our people.
• Quality and innovation: recognising ideas and solutions that bring new ways of working and excellent results.  
• Diamond award: celebrating a project that truly goes above and beyond, making an exceptional impact.  

Meet this year’s winners: 

• Brand and communication: Forvis Mazars XFactory

This startup accelerator created in Paris offers support from experts in transformation and acceleration. It is also notably committed to diversity and gender equality, as 70% of the projects it supports are led by women.

• Corporate sustainability: Safe water, bright minds.

This exceptional  project raised money to help Reerdé, a small town in Senegal, to ensure that the community has safe access to drinking water as well as quality and inclusive education.

• Talent and people: Forvis Mazars institute of development (Digital Futures Project)

Based in South Africa, this is a  fully funded and paid digital apprenticeship for 50 unemployed and high potential youth in South Africa. Its goal is to set them up for lifelong learning, giving them a first experience in the job market and offering mentorship.

• Quality and innovation: Pillar 2 Tool - an international innovation for tax

This digital tool was developed to answer the needs of the international tax landscape. It is a cloud-based digital tax portal that offers a large database and enables both tax calculation and reporting to be available in one place, building a strong international collaboration.

• Diamond award: Earthquake relief

Following a devastating 6.8 magnitude earthquake in the High Atlas Mountains in September 2023, our teams in Morrocco worked together to help coordinate relief efforts, donating supplies, volunteering to distribute them and participating in the clean-up.
